There must be hundreds of characters who appear in the Edward Ware Thrillers at War Series published by Cheops Books, LLC. Since each is an historical thriller the fictional characters mix and interact with real historical personages in each book. In Key to Lawrence: Special Edition Dora Benley meets Captain Turner who piloted the Lusitania on its last tragic voyage across the Atlantic. She also meets a doomed cast of characters who went down with the ship of the 1193 who perished including Alfred Vanderbilt, the famous millionaire. She also met Charles Frohman, the American theater manager, and Charles Klein, the American playwright. Later in the novel, giving the title to the piece, she runs into Lawrence of Arabia himself.
In Captive at the Berghof Parts 1 and 2 Dora and Edward Ware socialize with Winston Churchill, whom Edward works for as a spy. They visit the Berghof and Fuhrer of Germany, Adolf Hitler.
In Dark Horse, an alternative history thriller, Dora, Edward, and Churchill himself pin their hopes of wresting Great Britain back from Hitler on their meeting with FDR. They also run into that leader of the Ameria First Movement, Charles Lindbergh. They sponsor the dark horse candidacy of Wendell Wilkie, the Republican candidate, in hopes that it will free FDR to contribute to their cause.
