Egyptian Spy Ready For Pre-Order On Amazon:

Egyptian Spy by Dora Benley, another Edward Ware Thrillers Novel, will be published on December 7. Pre-order it here right now.

Dora, Lady Ware, her husband, Colonel Sir Edward Ware, his boss, Wickie, and Wickie’s wife, Jane, all travel to the Sphinx outside Cairo for the Christmas holidays when Edward’s mother, the Dowager Lady Ware, comes to visit in the 1930’s between the wars.

There are mystery figures hanging about even on top of the Sphinx and Dora cannot quite make them out. When she is left alone for a moment, a stalker approaches her and threatens her if she does not hand over the military maps that they want.

She flees and the stalker chases her. She finds herself on top of the Sphinx with a spitting cobra, only to be saved by Leopold, a young man who has befriended her.
But he is suddenly gunned down.

But whom? And who is Leopold? Dora had better find out or she could soon be dead, too, in Egyptian Spy, a new thriller by Dora Benley.

Murder at the Sphinx Gets New Reader Review:

We have a brand new review for Dora Benley’s Murder at the Sphinx on amazon.com by Cheri Clay:

She put her hand to her belly and imagined she felt Edward’s baby move. She waited far too long already. Lawrence maps or no, intrigue or no, she was going to take the plunge.”

Edward and Dora have waited since the great war to be together. Nineteen long years later, and after the death of Dora’s husband, they are now to be married. However, their wedding day was not as planned as “H, the faceless ghoul in blue”, shouts “da gozee” at them from the gallery as It cuts a British uniform to shreds and dropping it to the floor below…

What a spellbinding tale of intrigue, murder, suspense and yes even romance! The story of Edward and Dora’s love affair is powerfully emotional, but add the twist of intrigue and suspense surrounding the Lawrence maps and you have a novel that grabs hold and won’t let go.

There is more to this story, as hiding in the shadows are secrets and lies just waiting to be revealed. What happened to Edward the years he was missing and thought dead? Who is Leopold, the young man who seems to be on a quest to kill Dora, only to save her life time and time again, as Edward grows more impatient with the young boy wanting nothing more than to do away with him?

Heart-stopping suspense that readers will not want to end. Exceptionally written, memorable characters and a story line, not to be forgotten, leaving one powerfully charged novel that readers of suspense will not want to miss.

Two More Historical Thrillers By Dora Benley:

Dora Benley has whipped up two more historical thrillers to order. Cheops Books LLC will soon be publishing them. Paris Peace Plot will be published on November 11, the one hundred year anniversary of the end of World War 1. Helga’s Reich will be published soon after that.

In Helga’s Reich Helga von Wessel, Hitler’s chiefest spy, has killed Edward’s mother in a bombing raid in 1940. She has almost murdered his wife and destroyed his marriage. She has helped Hitler kidnap his only daughter, Thomasina.

Now she stands in the way of Edward and Britain winning the war. Does Edward have what it takes to kill her off before this vamp who is the mother of his illegitimate son, Leopold, ruins his career and takes the Lawrence maps which he is sworn to protect?

The battle between Edward and Helga plays itself out against the backdrop of World War 2.

In Paris Peace Plot Miss Dora Benley has an enemy. She does not know who it is. Somebody is watching her board the Lusitania on May 1, 1915 on the Cunard pier in New York. Aboard the ship eyes follow her everywhere she goes.

When she arrives in England her fiance’s gardener watches Miss Dora Benley, the American heiress, perpetually. When Lieutenant Edward Ware is off fighting with Lawrence of Arabia, saboteurs make her Pittsburgh trolley jump the tracks and crash. She discovers a murderous thug inside her shed in the South Hills of Pittsburgh where her father has his estate.

She has reason to believe that the terrorists are following her fiance during his battles with Lawrence in the Syrian Desert. Near the end of the war Edward is kidnapped and disappears. She travels to Europe to find him and meets with Lawrence of Arabia during the Paris Peace Conference in early 1919. But sure enough dark eyes once again follow her every move.

What do these mysterious saboteurs want with Dora? Edward? They have followed her and her fiance through the entire Great War and beyond. It seems that despite the Paris Peace Conference, there will never be peace for Dora and Edward again.

Helga’s Reich And The Mufti Of Jerusalem:

In the wake of Trump’s decision to drop out of the Iran Nuclear Dea you have something interesting developments. You say, “The UK is basically opposed to almost all of Israel’s policies and is sympathetic to the Palestinians.” Well, this sounds very interesting. Considering that Britain was the author of the Balfour Declaration about Israel returning to its homeland one hundred years ago right after World War 1, why do you find yourself in such an impasse? Is this what your membership in the EU, dominated by Germany, has done to your country???

Germany always preferred the Islamic types and wanted to ally itself with them. During WW1, Germany allied itself with the Ottoman Turks as you know very well. They wanted to build a Berlin to Baghdad Railway. Hitler was friends with the Mufti of Jerusalem, who was a Palestinian. At first Hitler wanted to send some of the Jews who were being sent out of Germany back to Israel, but the Mufti protested and said he didn’t want them in Jerusalem.

Why does England, on the eve of Brexit, want to ally itself with the Nazis against the Jews? Palestinians are almost synonymous with terrorists themselves as a group. Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East.

In the historical thriller Helga’s Reich, one of the Edward Ware Thrillers at War Series, the Mufti of Jerusalem actually kidnaps Edward. He tries to force him to give up the Lawrence maps, key to world domination. Hitler wants them. So does Helga.

Helga von Wessel, Hitler’s chiefest spy, has killed Edward’s mother in a bombing raid in 1940. She has almost murdered his wife and destroyed his marriage. She has helped Hitler kidnap his only daughter, Thomasina. Now she stands in the way of Edward and Britain winning the war. Cheops Books LLC Betrayed By Russians:

Cheops Books LLC is about to publish a novel in the Edward Ware Thriller Series called Salisbury Affair. It is about Dora and Edward’s wedding at Salisbury Cathedral. We are having a Facebook Party on May 4, and the debate is going to be about this subject.

We here at Cheops Books LLC feel betrayed that the Russians attacked Salisbury. It is as if they attacked our novel. That is a place that the author, Dora Benley, has incorporated into the world of the Edward Ware Thrillers at War novels. It is the town closest to Edward’s estate, Ware Hall, the ancestral home of his family that we find out later goes back to Roman times.

Salisbury Cathedral is where Dora and Edward were married. Ware Hall is practically burned to the ground in Captive at the Berghof by Helga and Hitler in September of 1940 during the Blitz, killing Edward’s mother. That is enough of a profanation.

But this chemical weapon of the Russians is far worse. After World War 2, the Wares renovate Ware Hall with Dora’s money. Leopold later completes the job as he reveals in Dark 3: Special Edition. But you cannot renovate what is contaminated by chemical weapons. It is like radiation. It might be there for a long time and you wouldn’t want to visit again. It turns the town of Salisbury, which our tour guide in 2012 called “God’s own country” along with all of Wiltshire, into Love Canal — or even Chernobyl.
