Publication Dates For Novels In 2018:
Cheops Books LLC has come up with a rough outline of when various historical thrillers and historical romantic thrillers by Dora Benley will be released this year, 2018. First of all, on April 9 we expect to publish Julia: A Romance. Right now you can enter the Goodreads Giveaway for that romantic thriller about ancient Rome.
On May 4 we plan to publish the second volume in the Edward Ware Thrillers at War Series, Salisbury Plot, on Amazon Kindle. It has a brand new cover that will send chills up your spine. At the same time we will release the audiobook edition of the work on Audible.
On Saturday, June 16 we plan to release Old Faithful Plot in which Hitler plans to blow up Yellowstone National Park. The cover art by Daniel Teran is a real winner.
On October 1, the days that Lawrence of Arabia and General Allensby won the Battle of Damascus against the Ottoman Turks and brought about the Armistice to end the war will be the publication date of Armistice Plot which brings to an end everything about the First World War except Adolf Hitler.
Then on Armistice Day, November 11, the one hundredth anniversary of the end of World War 1, Cheops Books will publish Paris Peace Plot about the upcoming summit in Paris to sign the treaty to end the war. It was a treaty that was so poor, so malicious in intent, that the treaty itself became one of the major causes of World War 2. It was often cited by Adolf Hitler as such. And that leads right into other novels to come in the Edward Ware Thriller Series about World War 2.

Europe Is Just Too Historic For Most Americans:
I don’t think it is just me. It is most Americans. It is one thing to go to Europe and look at historic attractions on a vacation and quite another to live in such a place surrounded by such stuff. Even places in America that rank as pretty historic have nothing like it. When we went to Valley Forge three years ago as soon as we got back from Europe, we were amazed at the contrast with Waterloo. Despite the 200 year celebration in 2015, nothing was in very good condition. However, in Valley Forge the park service had kept up George Washington’s marble triumphal arches as if they were just built yesterday.
Americans in Europe is a favorite theme of Cheops Books LLC. Dora Benley is an American heiress who gets ensnarled in European politics during World War 1 and World War 2 in the Edward Ware Thrillers at War Series. If you have not already met her, you can meet her this year in the upcoming historical thrillers Paris Peace Plot and Armistice Plot.

Dora and Edward Hit Rome:
I don’t think Dora and Edward Ware ever visited Rome on one of their wild forays into defending the Lawrence maps from Hitler. But if they did get themselves into such a plot might it go like this?
They would arrive by cruise ship, of course, at the port of Citavecchia. They would be met by a private car which would whisk them into Rome in about one and a half hours. They would want a half-private, half-public place to meet their contact as as not to seem suspicious. The Borghese Gallery might be just the place. At least it is a place to escape the hot sun and all those prying eyes out on the street corner.
They might hire a guide named Giovanni to serve as a cover. While they talked to their contact the guide would be giving them a tour of all the art works in the Borghese Gallery. He would be loud enough their conversation could not be overheard by others in the same room. They could pause in front of statues such as Daphne Fleeing Apollo and nod while Edward took notes.
After about an hour of this their guide and private car could drive them to a carefully chosen restaurant on the third or foruth floor directly across the street from the Colosseum, a restaurant such as Aroma. While sipping top notch Italian wine they could communicate by writing notes and passing them across the table to each other while the guide narrated loudly about the history of the edifice commissioned by Vespasian in 72 BC looming up in front of them.
When done with their meal Dora could pretend that she just had to have another Italian leather handbag. The driver would take them to the top shopping street in town such as the via del Corso. While she handed over a pile of Italian lira, she could be passing a note to a contact in Rome. Then Dora and Edward would be seamlessly transported back to Citavecchia to sail away from Italy and back to England.
Dora and Edward Ware are the two main characters of the Edward Ware Thrillers At War Series of historical thrillers that start during World War 1 and continue through the end of World War 2 with just a peek at what their life after the war might be like in a special supplement to the last novel in the series, Unlocking Trinity. Cheops Books LLC will publish the first volume in the series later this year as Paris Peace Plot. They will also publish Armistice Plot since 100 years ago was the end of World War 1.

TNT Fireworks Next Door To Cheops Books LLC:
Not only does Cheops Books LLC feel threatened when on the road again by none other than Disney, more close to home right at New Year’s it feels threatened by fireworks. We were just at the grocery store just down the hill called Safeway. Next to the checkout counter there are piles and piles of explosives. They are labeled TNT explosives and fireworks. There are signs that say NO SMOKING, and we have seen people vaping in the store. The management is ambiguous about that. The man in line in front of us at the checkout yesterday was buying fireworks. We were going to ask him if he was really going to use them considering how dangerous they were.
On New Year’s Eve the fireworks frequently land in our backyard. You can see them coming. You feel as if you are under attack by some unknown, dangerous enemy. And this in the very building that Cheops Books LLC calls home.
We hope the fireworks don’t ignite an explosion one of these days. We hope it does not burn our books. This past autumn we published the Dark Series: Dark 1, Dark 2, and Dark 3: Special Edition as well as Dark: A Trilogy. We are planning next year to publish Paris Peace Plot, Armistice Plot, Hitler’s Chief Spy, and Old Faithful Plot among other titles. We can only cross our fingers on New Year’s Eve and hope that they do not go up in smoke first.

The Armistice Plot To Be Published Next Year:
The Battle of Damascus at the end of the First World War was the final and conclusive battle in the Mesopotamian Theater of the war as illustrated in The Armistice Plot. It was not a theater of the war in which Americans were participating. It was a British show under General Allenby and Lawrence of Arabia. But after Lawrence drove into town, the Turks were ready to surrender and sign the Armistice.
As part of next year’s commemoration of the end of World War 1, Cheops Books LLC is publishing not only Paris Peace Plot to commemorate the Paris Peace Conference at the end of the war, it will be publishing The Armistice Plot also about Lawrence of Arabia’s greatest triumph, its lead up, and its aftermath.
Edward Ware starts the novel meeting his greatest adversary, the future Helga von Wessel, as a tomb robber stealing artifacts from his excavation at Carchemish. The situation in the Middle East heats up. The Arabs revolt. The British fight the Turks. But Helga always manages to get in his way trying to steal the maps drawn by Edward’s commanding officer, Lawrence of Arabia.
It doesn’t even matter that Helga gets thrown into jail at the end of the Battle of Damascus. She is back again after the war spying for the future Adolf Hitler. Many of her fellow confederates from the war in the Middle East have gone Nazi.
The cover for The Armistice Plot will be ready soon.

Paris Peace Plot To Be Remembered:
This weekend we celebrated Veteran’s Day. It has now been 99 years since the end of World War 1, or the Great War, the War to End All Wars. Next year on Sunday, November 11, 2018 it will be the one hundredth anniversary of the end of the war.
On May 1, 2015 Cheops Books LLC published Key to Lawrence: Special Edition to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Lusitania on May 7, 1915, the event that brought America into World War 1 two years later on April 6, 1917. On Sunday, November 11, 2018 it will publish the Paris Peace Plot. This edition of the historical thriller will commemorate the official end of the war when Big Ben tolled in London all day. But it will also commemorate the months lead up to the peace conference, the Paris Peace Conference, where the world leaders negotiated the treaty that all would sign to formally end the Great War.
The Kindle edition of the novel Paris Peace Plot will be available on Sunday, November 11, 2018, Armistice Day. But the audible edition will wait until the beginning of the following year, 2019. On Friday, January 18, 2019, one hundred years since the opening of the Paris Peace Conference where Clemenceau, Lloyd George, and Woodrow Wilson met to hammer out terms and to eventually sign the agreement at the Palace of Versailles, thus called the Versailles Treaty as well as the Paris Peace Treaty. Each edition of Paris Peace Plot will have its own special cover as well as companion essays talking about the event. It might also have many other special illustrations
Just as the Paris Peace Treaty had great implications for the history of the world, Dora meets a saboteur in Paris — unknown before that moment — who will have great implications for the future of the Edward Ware Thriller Series.
