Welcome To Edward Ware Thrillers YA:
All Dora Benley’s YA novels are closer to you than you would think. All you need to do is click the column on the website Edward Ware Thrillers YA News. You will come up with a long column of titles including Curse of the Pharaoh.
Lenore Rawlings has always been a loner in the new YA novel Curse of the Pharaoh. She has a pet cat, a dog, and even as snake which is appropriate considering that she has recently moved to Arizona.
Today she must drive her boyfriend and a teacher who is also an archaeologist to the new museum in town. The newest pharaoh from Egypt, his queen, and the court are on display, on loan from Egypt.
But little does Lenore realize that waiting for her at the museum is a boy named Seti, whom she can’t even see because he is invisible. The ghost lingers by the museum exhibit waiting for his lost love with long red hair and green eyes, the very image of Lenore.
When he sees Lenore he thinks she is the reincarnation of his lover from thousands of years before and turns out the lights.
Lenore feels a hand on her shoulder. She has better figure out what to do fast or she might well end up kidnapped by a wraith from ancient times.

Julia: A Romance Gets Two Reviews On Goodreads:
Julia: A Romance by Dora Benley was just published by Cheops Books LLC on April 9. That was the date that the Goodreads Giveaway distributed one hundred free copies of the Kindle edition of the historical romantic thriller. Two reviews have since that date been posted on Goodreads.
Kayla Tornello wrote, “I enjoyed this book’s setting in ancient Rome, although the characters seemed rather on the modern side at times. The main character, Julia, is reluctant to marry Sisenna. This creates drama, but it gets rather tedious at times. Also, the romance part only comes at the very end of the story. Perhaps I would have liked this book better if I had been a younger reader. I received this book as a Goodreads giveaway. Yay!”
Mary on Goodreads also posted her review, “Wonderful romance!”
The novel Julia: A Romance may be on your reading list soon.

On September 15 Cheops Books LLC will publish Dark 3: Special Edition, the concluding volume of the Dark Series started by Scholastic UK. It is a fitting ending to Dark 1 and Dark 2 and lets you know what finally happened to all those YA characters such as Bianca Winters and Doc and their doomed love affair. Does she finally marry Harry Fellini or what? Does Little Katie, the heiress of St Simons Island finally escape to some place where she doesn’t get kidnapped? What about her wealthy parents, the Shipleys? And what happens to the low life of St. Simons Island such as Marianna Haynes, who was always after Bianca, or even Harry Fellini’s jailbird brother, Mike Fellini?
And when all these loose plot ends finally get decided for good, what about the long promised trilogy: Dark: A Trilogy? Why not publish the Dark as a series? Dark: A Trilogy will be published on December 15. We here at Cheops Books LLC even have a brand new cover in mind. We don’t have the final drawing yet. But we have a rough sketch which we will share with you today along with this blog post. We are about ready to hand it over to Andrew the artist to put his finishing touches on it.

Starting tomorrow and for the next five days you will be able to download the first book in the Dark series, Are You Afraid Of The Dark?, on Amazon Kindle. This young adult thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat. As the reviewer at the Dublin newspaper said it will make you too afraid to sleep. But hurry! This offer will not be repeated this year.
Bianca Winters is seventeen years old — but she’s still afraid of the dark. She has good reason. Two years ago Bianca was the only witness to a brutal murder that devastated her home-town, sleepy St. Simons Island. Bianca rescued the tiny child she was babysitting, and ran, and she feels like she’s been running ever since. Only Bianca can shed any light on the killing — and she can’t remember a thing about that night. Read what The Sunday Independent in Dublin has to say about this teen horror story turned romantic thriller: “Teens rarely need an excuse to stay up late, but The Dark by Linda Cargill would give pause for thought to even the most steely-nerved youngster. A genuinely griping horror story. Approach with caution.”

Dark 1 opens on St. Simons Island, Georgia, the home of the heroine, Bianca Winters, and her employers, the Shipleys, the parents of Little Katie Shipley, the heiress. This swampy barrier island with live oaks with moss is the atmospheric setting for the mysterious murder of Mrs. Ingersoll, the upstairs maid, one night while Bianca is babysitting the newborn baby. But the novel doesn’t stop there. Dark 2 takes the characters to London on a worldwide chase after the killer. And Dark 3 begins in Anaheim, California in Disneyland where Little Katie is celebrating her birthday after fleeing with her parents from St. Simons Island where she had been kidnapped all too many times. In their quest to evade the killer Bianca and Little Katie must travel up the west coast to Vancouver and fly to Germany where the young adult thriller’s climactic scene occurs. So The Dark is a well-traveled series full of creepy horrors from around the world.
