Putlitz has chosen a favorite bed on this trip — his new soft-sided crate with a shoulder strap that I use to transfer him to his hard-sided carrier in the car and that I use to take him into motel rooms. Tonight I put it under my suitcase. He also likes the window sills at La Quinta. I found him there this morning when we were ready to go.
Sabaka enjoyed a triple cheeseburger at Dairy Queen in Big Spring. For dinner he sampled Chick-fil-A in Abilene.
He had a grand time at the Petroleum Museum. He was just like a kid going to look at the pump jacks working outside the building. I have photos of Sabaka galloping about.
