Malcolm Blair Robinson has written a wonderful blog today summing up the Trump experience this past weekend with the inauguration and the new move to meet with the new PM, May, this coming week. We have the next move toward an American/British alliance, this time an economic one, that features and emphasized the “special relationship”. Just this past Friday, after all, Churchill’s bust was restored to the Oval Office after being banished for the past eight years.
This is noteworthy for Cheops Books, LLC as it continues to publish the Edward Ware Thrillers At War series. The relationship between Edward and Dora Ware, the chief couple of the thriller series, is a British/American relationship. Dora’s father is a Robber Baron who funds Edward’s spying activities and all sorts of diplomatic dinner, banquets, and balls. And the chief political relationship of the series is between Edward, the spy, and Churchill, the spymaster. And Churchill was half American. Churchill’s idea of drawing America into the Second World War was what saved Britain. And right now a deal with Trump may well save May and Brexit.

The Old Faithful Plot ends at the Old Faithful Geyser and Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park. The geyser and its regular eruptions are part of the climactic scene of the alternative history thriller novel. It’s enough to give you thrills and chills but wouldn’t that be even more true if the geyser could erupt in your face as it were or at least on your own desktop?
Thanks to the National Park website nps.gov such a thing is now possible. You can tune in each and every day no matter what the time of year to watch Old Faithful erupt in all its glory. The National Park Service operates a webcam. Here is the link. From now on Cheops Books LLC is going to display the link on the Old Faithful Plot page of the website: http://www.edwardwarethrillers.org. It will keep you in the right mood for reading the book. You know you can turn to it when you are in the mood. Our author Dora Benley tells us that she was constantly watching the geyser erupt as she was writing the novel. We can tell. You will be able to also.

Would Be Christmas Bride: Miss Dora Benley got engaged to Lieutenant Edward Ware in May of 1915 when Edward was about to ship off to Gallipoli. She returned to Pittsburgh with her Crusader engagement ring that Edward gave her in England, an heirloom passed down in his family for generations, with the understanding that they would be seeing each other again at Christmas time. The war was supposed to be over. Peace was going to reign, and they were to be married at Salisbury Cathedral. Dora’s mother even bought the ocean liner discounts for all the guests to travel with them in an entourage back to England. But when Christmas came Edward was still far away fighting. He never returned for their wedding. Dora waited Christmas after lonely Christmas for her true love to return to her. She waited four long years for the Great War to end.

This story is recounted in the first volume of the Edward Ware Thrillers at War series, Key to Lawrence: Special Edition.

William Shakespeare is not only the most famous English writer of all times, he is frequently considered to be the greatest writer who ever existed in the whole world. But did he really exist? Was his name really William Shakespeare? Or was Shakespeare merely a pen name to conceal his real identity? There was a William Shakespeare who was a businessman at the time, who bought New Place at Stratford upon Avon. But was he a patron of the artists or a writer? Did the real writer just borrow his name? And why did he want to conceal himself? In the past people have suggested that he might have been close to the royal court and thus wanted not to be known for political reasons. But whoever he was the mystery he leaves behind is intriguing and has become the subject of the upcoming Edward Ware Thrillers novel, Murder at Hamlet’s Castle.

The villainess, Helga von Wessel, Hitler’s chief spy, struts boldly across the cover of this book with Europe at her back and all sorts of ambitious notions in her head. As far as she is concerned it isn’t Hitler’s Reich. It is Helga’s Reich. She will wrap Edward around her little finger to prove it.

Dora isn’t sure she is cut out for this life of intrigue against Hitler and his chiefest spy, Helga von Wessel, who turns out to be Edward’s mistress and the mother of his bastard son, Leopold. After all, as the only daughter of a Robber Baron from Pittsburgh, she is used to having things her own way. The conflict heats up between Dora and her husband, Colonel Sir Edward Ware, and they are headed for a splashy divorce that makes headlines around the world just at the moment when the globe is poised on the brink of war. Hamlet is Shakespeare’s longest play. Did you ever get tired of all that lack of action, that constant lamenting, that constant to be or not to be stuff? Did you ever wish Hamlet had been an action hero instead with a whole new face and purpose? Well, you have to look no farther than Murder in Hamlet’s Castle to be published by Cheops Books LLC.
