Tune Into The Old Faithful Webcam on the Old Faithful Plot Website:
When you are visiting the Cheops Books LLC website at http://www.edwardwarethrillers.org, you can tune into the Old Faithful webcam on the nps.gov website. Thinking it very appropriate we have included this webcam on the book page for the Old Faithful Plot. Given that the eruptions of this particular geyser are very important to the plot of the historical thriller novel that is part of the series Edward Ware Thrillers at War, we wanted readers to be able to watch the geyser while they were reading sections of the book or looking at other pages on the website.
While they are hiding out from Dora’s husband at the Old Faithful Lodge in 1933, Dora and Edward are also hiding Lawrence maps that Churchill has given them and which Hitler would do anything to get his hands on. Enter Helga and Herr von Wessel, Hitler’s top spies. They warn Colonel Sir Edward Ware and Dora that either they hand over the top secret maps, key to world domination, or they will blow up Yellowstone National Park. They will turn the famous geyser basin into volcanic rubble – and the rest of America, too, which would be buried in volcanic ash just like Pompeii. And if that doesn’t work they have an even darker plot up their sleeves, one that would change history itself.
Remember that 1933 is the year of FDR, Hitler, King Kong, and the Old Faithful Plot. And just to appreciate it all the more, watch the geyser erupt on the webcam.

Yellowstone the SuperVolcano Stars In Old Faithful Plot:
There are only three supervolcanoes in the world, and Yellowstone is one of them. The geysers in the park have been erupting more frequently than usual. There have been earthquake tremors all over Wyoming. They could presage the coming eruption of the supervolcano that has not erupted in seventy thousand years.
If the volcano erupts again it will kill an estimated eighty-seven thousand people. It will quickly make two-thirds of the United States uninhabitable. Clouds of ash will block out the sunlight in much of the country. That will start to affect the flora and fauna beneath the dark pall suddenly cast over it. The eruption will be two thousand times as powerful as the 1980 eruption of nearby Mt. St. Helens which managed to throw ash into five Canadian provinces and eleven states. This sounds like the apocalypse.
Hitler saw all this coming. He decided to send his most trust Nazi agents to Yellowstone National Park to see if they could jigger an eruption of Old Faithful. Edward and Dora must prevent him. All this drama forms the subject of the upcoming Old Faithful Plot soon to be published by Cheops Books LLC.

Dora Benley, the World Traveler:
Dora Benley had no idea when she set out on our journey with her parents on May 1, 1915 to England that she was embarking on a lifetime of travel. The young woman at that time was a college student at Bryn Mawr College for young women and had never been abroad before. She had probably not been much of anywhere except Pennsylvania, driving between her native haunts of Pittsburgh where she grew up to Philadelphia where she was attending school and where her parents had another estate in the King of Prussia area called Maymont.
Dora Benley experienced a rough and sudden indoctrination into the world of travel. She embarked on the Lusitania in Manhattan on May 1, 1915. A German torpedo sank it on May 7, 1915 off the coast of Ireland. Dora swore to get revenge on the Germans who sank her ship and killed some of her friends. She joined forces with Edward Ware and later married him, becoming Lady Ware. In the cause of fighting Germans and keeping the Lawrence maps, key to world domination, away from them she traveled to England, Germany, Italy, France, Gibraltar, Chicago, Yellowstone, the Petrified Forest, Santa Fe, San Diego, the Atlantic Provinces of Canada, Scotland, Denmark, and more places than you can count. She kept a wardrobe and suitcase packed at the Savoy Hotel in London just because she never knew where she and her husband, the Colonel, were going to be sent next as spies in the service of Winston Churchill.
The best way to appreciate Dora Benley and her travel itinerary is to read the Edward Ware Thrillers at War Series starting with Key to Lawrence Special Edition and continuing with 1935 Plot, Dark Horse, and other novels yet to be published.

Will Cheops Books LLC find itself in Yellowstone this summer standing in front of Old Faithful Geyser? Certainly that is what happens to Dora and Edward in the upcoming historical thriller Old Faithful Plot set in the ominous year 1933 when Hitler first came to power. They are looking for a place to get rid of the Lawrence maps and hand them over to Churchill’s agent sent from Great Britain.
What a choice of locale! Hitler thinks so, too. The Dictator thinks he has discovered time tunnel under the geyser basin that will lead him back to ancient Rome. He wants to eliminate a certain philosopher/historian by the name of Pliny the Elder who first defamed his German ancestors. He thinks that will change history and Germany will win the First World War, putting the Dictator in an even stronger position in Europe of the 30’s.
In addition he wants to threaten the USA. If Dora and Edward do not hand over the maps, key to world domination, he will blow up the geyser basin and Old Faithful Geyser and set off a chain volcanic reaction in the only supervolcano in North America. It will blow the whole country sky high!

Starting Thursday, February 16 until February 23 Gypsy will be offered as a Kindle Countdown Special for only $.99. But hurry! This young adult thriller will not be offered on special again this year. Gypsy continues the Cheops Books LLC Special Promotions of novels about the greater Yellowstone ecosystem as a lead up to publication of the Old Faithful Plot later this year.
Lila moves to northern Montana with her parents. Her father is a crime novelist. But the story she finds in the newspaper on the doorstep sounds far more wild than any of his tales. Apparently a young man and woman, both Gypsies, boarded a train recently and played cards with a group of teenage boys and girls. The boys and girls were never the same again. All seem to be staring out the window watching for something. One mother apparently went outside in the snow to see what her daughter was staring at. She found a peculiar footprint or paw print, it was hard to tell which. It looked partly human but also like a grizzly, too. The mother hired a trapper. Neither could figure it out.
Lila can hardly believe it until she looks down at the snow herself. She sees the same phenomenal print. Is somebody after her? The whole town? What is going on here? She had better figure it out before she ends up in a murder thriller herself.

Gypsy is brought to you by Edward Ware Thrillers YA, an imprint of Cheops Books LLC. If you liked Gypsy, you will enjoy other young adult thrillers by Linda Cargill such as Dream, Candle, Bienville, Desert, and Ancestress.

Today all around the world the day after the Inauguration of Donald Trump on January 20, there were supposedly protest marches. What were they protesting? Apparently Trump’s perceived male chauvinism. But Old Faithful Plot and other titles in the Edward Ware Thrillers at War Series featured hero Colonel Sir Edward Ware who is nothing if he is not a male chauvinist pig. His wife, Dora Benley, is an American heiress from Pittsburgh. But she is expected to follow him on his adventures around the globe. In addition her pocketbook is very useful in financing everything, and Edward is not above taking advantage of her Robber Baron status.
Other women have set their sights on him, too. Villainess Helga von Wessel, Hitler’s chiefest spy, likes nothing better than trying to seduce Edward in order to persuade him to give up the Lawrence maps, key to world domination. Edward battles the women left and right and puts them in their place in order to serve his Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, and his country. He is a proud to be a male chauvinist pig.

1933, the year of the Old Faithful Plot, the alternative history thriller soon to be published by Cheops Books, LLC, was the year of three great rhetoricians in politics: FDR, Adolf Hitler, and Winston Churchill. In 1933 Adolf Hitler became Chancellor of Germany. Hitler was always good at making speeches and working the crowd. He was positively theatrical, acting as if he were on a stage with his rhetorical flourishes and dramatic moves. FDR had just become the American President and was inaugurated in March with his famous “the only thing we have to fear is fear itself” speech. It was probably the most dramatic and noteworthy inaugural address of all times on this day, January 20, of the Trump inaugural. Lurking in the background in 1933 was the famous British speechmaker, Winston Churchill, who was still a backbencher, excluded from the Conservative Government of his day but soon to come to the fore in politics. He was the become the biggest and most famous of rhetoricians of the twentieth century. It was such an era of rhetoric that even the movie producer character in King Kong, which came out in 1933, made thematic speeches in the movie. He delivered the last lines of the movie about beauty and the beast.
