Don’t Stop in Wytheville: Red Roof Inn Wytheville
We couldn’t locate the Best Western Wytheville. We caught sight of the Red Roof Inn next to a Bob Evans Restaurant on a steep incline in the Highlands of Virginia last August on the way back from our European odyssey and the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. The Bob Evans Restaurant was particularly bad. It served utterly tasteless food no matter what we ordered. And they dared to ask for a tip, too. Our family tried to avoid Bob Evans for breakfast the next morning by taking advantage of CP in the lobby of the Red Roof Inn. That was a mistake! We had to walk down a steep incline to reach the lobby. Then we got lost hiking up. It was terribly inconvenient. The next time I would drive past Wytheville and not bother to stop.
