Ginger is the co-captain of the high school rafting team only because she lost all to the bully Alisal who has the biggest muscles and the most irascible temper in the school. But then why does she give in when he forces himself upon her and kisses her? She wonders when she finds herself at the bottom of the Grand Canyon with all ten rafters on the team. Alisal bullies each one of them and treats them like slaves to do his bidding.
