On September 30, 1894 Dora was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as the only daughter and only child of Etta May Benley and Winthrop Benley, the Robber Baron and industrialist. She did not know then that she was going to be recruited as the heroine of the Edward Ware Thriller Series and the wife of Colonel Sir Edward Ware, the British scion of an ancient family that went back to Roman times and in the twentieth century worked for Winston Churchill.

This was also the day on September 30, 1934 that Dora became Lady Ware in a ceremony at Salisbury Cathedral in the south of England in a ceremony described in 1935 Plot, the second novel in the Edward Ware Thrillers at War Series. The novel was released this year and is available on Amazon Kindle. Find out what happens when Hitler’s henchmen go after the bride on her wedding day.
