Emily waits at her locker every day just to say hello to Scott Bradley, the high school dream to die for. One morning after she puts on her makeup in front of the mirror attached to the inside of her locker, she turns around and smiles radiantly only to see Ted. Ted is her next door neighbor that she has known ever since kindergarten. He is a total nothing. He is in her way. She tries to push past him.
