We Drove Past The Cologne Cathedral
Originally we had planned to visit the cathedral on our trip to Germany last June. But we couldn’t find a hotel close enough to make it worthwhile in the time we had available. But when we were taking the highway around the city we were amazed that we could see the steeple of the cathedral rising high in the distance. We could also see it from the parking lot of our Burger King lunch stop in Frechen as you can see in the photos I have included. It gives you an appreciation for how big the cathedral really is. I’ve never seen one so large!
