We sneaked into Denny’s in West Mifflin outside Pittsburgh on Monday night just before the dinner hour. We got scared off on Sunday because of the crowds. We had the waitress all to ourselves while we studied the menu. But we sort of new we were in the mood for breakfast for dinner. And the ham and cheese omelettes were worth waiting for. The cheese was creamy and copious and served piping hot. The ham was tender and a little salty just as it should be. Accompanied by buttered toast and washed down by iced tea, it was the perfect dinner time indulgence.
