The Waiter Showed Me To The Door:
We stepped from the lobby of Courtyard by Marriott into the adjoining Ruby Tuesday’s Restaurant in Somerset, New Jersey only to be asked by a waiter, “Are you here to eat?” I said, “Yes,” They quipped, “You came in the wrong door.” I replied, “I came from the hotel lobby.” Nice attitude for a restaurant that advertises itself as being attached to the Courtyard by Marriott! I insisted that they seat me at the door I entered from and finally won the battle. But why should it have been a battle? Shouldn’t they make their guests feel welcome? We ordered pasta and mozzarella sticks along with iced tea. They seemed to put us in a dark corner where it was hard to read the menu, but perhaps that was the penalty for those who entered by the wrong door.
