The scene you see here took place only moments before the Lusitania sank. The passengers were eating lunch about 2:00 PM on the sunny afternoon of Friday, May 7, 1915. They were already the Irish Sea and heading for port in Liverpool. They could already feel the ground beneath their feet when suddenly the torpedo struck and ended their orderly peaceful world forever.
