Thanks for the correction about the wild pigs. I thought that the pigs feasting on acorns in the New Forest were wild. But Gary looked it up in my book on the New Forest. I was getting wild pigs confused with regular barnyard pigs that farmers are allowed to release on the heath to feed on certain occasions.It’s all part of this right of commoning, which is hard to understand.
I googled pigs in the New Forest on Pinterest. I got a picture of Pigs at Bolderwood. They don’t look like boars to me. They look like barnyard pigs, don’t you think? I put them on my website and on my Pinterest page:
