As far as St. Simons Island is concerned, though it has nothing to do with Hitler or WW2, I will post some of my photos of the place. It’s pure Southern Gothic. Even you will think the live oaks with Spanish moss and the carved faces in the trunks of the trees are spooky. And the place has a haunted lighthouse for sure.
