By the time we were on the return trip from Santa Fe where we’d been researching WW2 spies, we knew to look for Denny’s. We got off the road in Bernalillo and enjoyed spaghetti and meatballs for lunch. It was the best spaghetti and meatballs of the vacation. The particular restaurant had the best ground Parmesan cheese I’ve ever tasted. They brought it to us in separate dishes, one for each person. it was a nice touch. We couldn’t wait for the next lunch at Denny’s and more spaghetti, of course.
