Another Noisy Motel along I-25

We took the CP breakfast in the lobby back to our room at the Comfort Inn in Socorro. The rolls were dry, not quite stale but tending in that direction. The OJ was bland. The tea I didn’t taste. I always bring my own because almost no motel stocks Lipton and this one was no exception. Almost everybody else checked in after we were in bed. We had the strange experience of seeing dark forms drift past our window on the ground floor when we were trying to go to sleep, which was very distracting especially since we could hear their conversations.The guests above us seemed to be having a party late. It was still another noisy motel along I-25 in July. Best advice: If you want a quiet room, don’t travel in July. The highways are mobbed.
