Pool In The Middle Of The Parking Lot Great For Dog:
We stayed at the Best Western Thunderbird Cookeville twice last year on our way back and forth to the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. This place has a huge parking lot with a pool in the middle of it. The pool is lined with a grassy bank, hedges, and flower beds. This was the perfect place for my dog to take a walk. It was also ideal as a place to take my cat for a walk in his pet stroller. There was CP in the lobby which we never took advantage of. We always drove to the local McDonalds instead. But it was convenient that they sold postcards about Tennessee and black bears in particular.
Tip: Stay in a ground floor room closest to the pool if you have a dog.
