Tomorrow night Cheops Books will post a Presidential Debate on its website between the Republican candidate Wendell Wilkie and the Democratic candidate, FDR, or Franklin Roosevelt who was the incumbent President at the time.There were several large issues facing the candidates. One of them was Hitler and what America should do about him. Should the US aid Britain in the war that was already beginning in Europe? Another issue was whether the nation should continue FDR’s deficit spending in the New Deal. Still another was whether any President should have a third term.
