The Goethe Puppet We Bought In Weimar Gave Out Candy For Halloween 10/31/12
With all due respect to Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, the famous German poet and author of Faust, we decided to use his puppet to give out candy. He is associated with Walipurgis Night. It’s sort of like Halloween when all sorts of ghosts and goblins come out. So we didnt’ think we’d be violating anything if we had him greet Halloweeners tonight. He was a big success with the kids. He might even be educational. He even bowed to the kids and waved good-bye.
