I think the LCD screen on the Canon Rebel is perfect for composing a picture. The viewfinder is good in bright, sunny conditions when you can’t see the LCD screen. None of the viewfinders on any of these SLR cameras are as good as the Asahi Pentax K1000 non-digital SLR camera I used to have. That’s why I don’t like to use contemporary viewfinders unless I have to.
