Every motel we checked into in July, 2914 on the way to Santa Fe to research WW2 spies was crowded and noisy. The Comfort Inn T or C was no exception. Little doggies barked along hallway and in parking lot. The shouts of kids echoed everywhere. Other annoyances included having no toilet seat, a shower where water leaked out all over the bathroom, and a highway sign that directed us the wrong way when getting back onto the interstate. At least the front desk personnel had improved during the past 3 years. This was the motel where the check in clerk canceled our reservation because we didn’t apologize to the maid for asking to check in early.
