The room service staff at Las Fuentes at the Bishop’s Lodge in Santa Fe didn’t pick up the dinner room service tray until the next morning despite repeated calls from me while researching WW2 spies in Santa Fe. They let it sit outside on our porch all night long. Wild animals from the surrounding Sangre de Cristos Mountains could have been attracted to it. The Bishop’s Lodge is located way out of town on Bishop’s Lodge Road in the foothills of the Rockies. The dinner staff also insisted on giving me corn muffins instead of white rolls when I clearly requested white rolls with my steak. They also put tomatoes and spices in the corn, which I didn’t like. I don’t like Mexican food in general, and they kept on insisting on trying to give it to me. All this for $151.98 for dinner room service? Note: It was the only restaurant available when staying at the Bishop’s Lodge.
