The steak at K-Bob’s in Socorro was better than during our previous visit three years ago on the way back from Santa Fe researching WW2 spies. But it wasn’t worth $82.63 for three people and one takeout for our dog. It seemed way too expensive for Socorro, New Mexico! In particular the sides that came with the steak dinner weren’t up to the price. The rolls were tasteless, the green beans so so. The baked potato seemed dried out, the butter obviously not homemade. In fact it tasted like ordinary margarine. The iced tea was nothing to write home about either.. At least we found place to park in the shade and service was not too slow
