After a long day on the road we looked forward to a full course dinner. We couldn’t wait to dig into the T-bone steak with rice, squash, and buttered toasted bread. It was worth all those miles just to get to it. We lingered as long as we could at Denny’s, taking advantage of those free iced tea refills. After all, it was July on I-10, this was Benson, Arizona, the next town before Tucson, and it was hot. It was the perfect way to cool off.
