The first 70 pp of Key to Lawrence is perhaps the most historical part of the whole series. It’s about the last voyage of the Lusitania from May 1-May 7, 1915. The only fictional characters in the whole 70 pp sequence are the Benleys: Winthrop, Etta May, and Dora. All the other characters, including the walk-on parts and minor characters, are for real. Even what they say is almost always for real.
