Geographic determinism seems to be a factor in the evolution of Apple into what it is today. It couldn’t happen in London. It had to happen in California. With low humidity and higher elevations colors show up most vividly in the western USA, more so than anywhere else. It goes back to the early 20th century and Georgia OKeeffe with the Santa Fe school of art that depended on vivid colors and landscapes. This device isperfect for Dark 3’s creation. The plot involves a trip up the west coast. The action has nothing to do with Apple, but it has everything to do with atmospheric scenery such as an isolated, dark Redwood Forest north of San Francisco where the anti-hero almost does inone of Bianca’s friends who is trying to stop them in their progress north.
