We Cross The Mississippi in A Rainstorm:
Everybody has their rivers to cross. Edward and Dora had to deal with the Nile in Nightmare at Ware Hall when Edward was stationed at Mid-East Headquarters. Today we crossed the Mississippi River in a driving rainstorm. But we were reminded that though we were on the eastern edge of Memphis for the night, we were still in the South. Next to the Red Roof Inn we feasted at a Cracker Barrel Restaurant with all the fixins and helpins including that southern speciality, cornbread.
