On the way out of the town of Muenster I saw a McDonalds. Our fourth pit stop was there. My husband ordered three teas and three apple cakes. It looked very fancy at the McCafe. Not only did they serve the hot tea and coffee in porcelain cups with saucers, they served the pastries on china plates. The pastries were something to behold. Just let your eyes feast on my mouth-watering photos of donuts, cherry pastries, apple streudel, and muffins of all sorts. One would think I had wandered into a bakery instead of a fast food restaurant. This is all too typical of McDonalds restaurants in Germany as contrasted with their counterparts in the USA.
