The La Quinta Kingsport was very average. It’s hard to remember anything exceptional about it. Supposedly it was brand new. But the hot water in the bathtub was tepid, though there were nice yellow and orange striped shower curtains. The A/C went off at night. It was hard to keep it on. The breakfast room was so-so. It was just the standard cold cereal/oatmeal/blueberry muffin routine with a juice and coffee machine. Our dog ate a blueberry muffin and a hard-boiled egg. The parking lot was adjacent to a Cracker Barrel. Wendy’s was across the street. A nice touch: The lobby was well-stocked with free La Quinta Tennessee postcards. We got a free USA Today newspaper.
