We checked out of room 27 at 10:17AM at our hotel in Wurselen. The first pit stop was at Frechen at the Burger King for lunch. We had double whoppers with cheese. Kenny had onion rings. We ordered medium Cokes. While waiting for our food, Gary and I saw a TV showing the Queen arriving in Berlin. We don’t know why she’s there with Prince Phillip, but she is. I’ll have to ask Malcolm. While we were eating we watched some of the coverage.
When we left the restaurant we took pictures from the parking lot of the distant spire of Cologne Cathedral. It was incredible that you could see it from such a distance. It must be huge!
