It still begs my original question about how much freedom of speech you might have aboard the Queen Mary 2. I could come up with a scenario. If you were seated at dinner with your table mates at a table of 6 and you were all chatting about the Costa Concordia and suddenly a guest at another table got worried about sinking and complained to the captain, what would the captain do? Would he tell you that you couldn’t discuss such subjects in the dining room? Would he suggest you carried on such subjects only in your cabin? If you ignored the captain and kept on talking about the Costa Concordia or the ship’s reflagging, would they put your ashore when you got to England or wherever you were going? Would they refuse to let you board again?
