Boy Is England Ready For Halloween! 9/13/12
They say that the Cloisters at Salisbury Cathedral is peppered with graves that can clearly be seen from overhead. And even from ground level the earth doesn’t look level. We could see that clearly when we strolled around it on July 13. When we were at Stonehenge you could see mounds surrounding the Neolithic site which were supposed to be mass graves. You’ll have to excuse me if I thought that gorse in the New Forest on the way to Salisbury looked like mounds of earth with graves underneath it, too. All you needed was a little fog drifting about or a lightning storm. Then the dead would walk.
I wouldn’t want to take the trip on October 31.
