Triumph Of The Will Includes The Zeppelin Field 10/28/12
This morning when I was getting dressed I continued to watch Triumph of the Will. Gary pointed out the Zeppelin Field in one scene where they had erected temporary wooden stands. We could see the Nazi Eagle where the podium now stands. Heads of the various Nazi branches of government were giving addresses inside a Congress Hall as Hitler watched. It looked familiar now that we’ve been there. I have to rewrite the 1938 sequence in Captive At The Berghof to incorporate all these details.
