Apparently Hitler took the complete manuscript for the opera with him to the Bunker in 1945, and it disappeared after that. Who stole it? A Russian? Why? Was it just because it was a valuable Wagnerian opera, or was it something else? Did Hitler hide something inside the book binding? Stay tuned if I ever write the novel.
