Review on Amazon.com of Leica D-Lux 20

I bought this camera for Christmas in 2010 and didn’t use it until February 2011. By the time I got around to taking it on the Queen Mary 2 and on a car tour of Germany in July, 2012 it started to produce pictures with black spot in them. There was also a smear which was visible only in certain bright lights. It gave out totally before I reached home. Even the lens wouldn’t work. I had it professionally cleaned, but I still can detect the smear. This bad experience makes me question the quality of Leica cameras. I loved my D-Lux 4 which I owned previously. I should have taken that one to Europe!
