Even Coronado has to do with World War 2. We were concentrated this year on Germany and the south of England, we were concentrated on two transatlantic voyages, but we actually also made a brief trip in May to Coronado.
Not far away up in Long Beach is parked the original Queen Mary, the Gray Ghost of World War 2 fame. And Coronado is also the home of the Pacific Fleet that fought the war in the Pacific.
So coast to coast this year we were obsessed with World War 2. It had a vast reach.
