SUPERNATURAL STONEHENGE
Stonehenge looks supernatural, haunted, and scary. Suddenly monstrous-size plinths confront you standing up on end as if space aliens or at least invisible beings put them that way for no apparent reason. You think that if you trip over a plinth or rock or if you step on something unintentionally you might turn into stone yourself. In an unnerving fashion one of the stone plinths actually resembles a fleeing tourist turned to stone. It doesn’t help your nerves that there are grave barrows from ages long past in the background as well as ravens sitting on the fence in the parking lot. If it weren’t so crowded with people arriving on tour buses you might find your hair standing up on end.
