Read For Setting Alone: Mission to Paris by Alan Furst
In Mission to Paris by Alan Furst the reader can hear the clink of silverware in cafes, the rattle of coins in pockets, and the laughter of gaudy, expensive women. He can even smell their perfume. It’s the perfect location for a spy novel about dangerous times with the Nazis for a character named Prideaux. It reminds me of Paris when I last visited it.
