Pizza Hut in Willcox won’t serve individual salads. They insist you help yourself at the salad bar. For years I’ve been dubious about salad bars. Certain localities outlaw them because of the spread of colds, etc. Even when we sailing across the Atlantic two years ago on the Queen Mary 2, I avoided the cheese and dessert buffet on deck 7 in the King’s Court. Few places on our way to Santa Fe this year in 2014 seemed to insist on salad bars, thank goodness! In addition the service was so slow I had to go up to the counter to pay. But everybody in Willcox was there. It’s the best restaurant in town. In that respect it reminds me of Pecos, Texas.
