A Gray Day And A Gray Breakfast:
The parking lot at the La Quinta Weatherford was wet when we woke up. We got dressed and went to the CP at the front desk. Once again breakfast was very disappointing. There were no eggs of any kind. Nor could we get sausage for the dog. We ended up eating Raisin Bran again, which seems to appear everywhere in CP’s in the US. We got tasteless orange juice. This place had powdered creamer for the tea and served English breakfast tea at the very least. There was discussion that we might not go anywhere today. After all, there was some low lying fog. I don’t drive in fog. We loaded the car. We checked out of room 113 of the La Quinta Weatherford at 10:20AM. There really was low lying fog. But you could still see the cars and trucks ahead of you as we turned on the defrost and windshield wipers. Over all, it was a very disappointing day in Texas.
