The Only Ice Cubes I Saw In Europe Were At Salisbury Cathedral 9/7/12
What’s with the lack of ice cubes in July? We stopped at numerous McDonalds at autohofs and numerous Burger Kings at rest areas along the autobahns. Not one of them offered an ice machine along with a glass of Coke. Not even the Queen Mary 2 had a single ice machine along with the lemonade or iced tea dispensers on deck 7 in the King’s Court. Is this a conspiracy against us Americans? The only ice cubes I saw on the whole trip to Europe were in a cafeteria at Salisbury Cathedral. They had them in a metal bin with a metal scoop right near the cash register.
