We Saw Cartoonish Faces On The Autobahns In Germany 9/23/12
Reviewing my trip video I saw cartoon faces posted along the autobahn. Who’s doing this? The government, believe it or not! It’s supposed to signal drivers that they are entering a construction zone. The frowning faces are at the beginning of the road work. They begin to smile as you drive along. When you pass the construction zone, the faces beam at you. I’ve certainly never seen anything like it on the interstates in the USA. How bizarre!
