Why Must The Eagle On The Burger King Be Preserved When The Rally Grounds Fall Into Ruin? 10/6/12
My husband looked up the Burger King near the Rally Grounds on the outskirts of Nuremberg. It used to be the center that controlled the lighting on the Zeppelin Field nearby. Why does the rental agreement that Burger King signed specify that they can do nothing with the outside of the building? Not that I think they should. I don’t believe in changing or altering historical monuments of any kind. But then this contradicts the policy being followed about the Zeppelin Field itself. Everything there is being allowed to fall apart.
Is it really just a matter of money? They can afford to let Burger King keep up the building but nobody’s paying for the Zeppelin Field?
