Salisbury Photo Album:

Cheops Books LLC is going to publish the historical thriller and second volume in the Edward Ware Thrillers at War Series, Salisbury Affair, on May 4. In honor of the town of Salisbury, England where Dora and Edward are married on September 30, 1934, Cheops Books LLC is going to set up a section of the website to feature the town of Salisbury, Salisbury Cathedral, and nearby Stonehenge that we visited in 2012. We will use photos that we took ourselves.

Who would ever have thought that such a peaceful, quiet corner of England could turn into a world crisis center? In fact, part of the tension of the novel Salisbury Affair is created by the contrast between the pastoral setting and Helga and her manipulations in 1934. Helga besieges Dora’s and Edward’s wedding at the cathedral by disguising herself and throwing things down from the balcony. Then, right after the wedding, she almost murders Dora on her wedding day at the cathedral. Who would think that in 2018 Russia would do even better than Helga in defacing the place with its chemical weapons? But such are world events and history itself.
